Recreational Program

The Recreational Program offers dance courses for all ages, once, twice or three times per week. These courses help students develop their musicality and movement abilities, personal discipline, group work skills and creativity.

    In this introductory dance class, young children, accompanied and supported by a parent, discover movement, space and music in a fun learning atmosphere. Participants develop their listening skills and learn to follow instructions and work in a group.

    Creative Dance

    This class encourages children to explore the many movement possibilities of their bodies. They learn to identify directions, levels and different qualities of movement and spatial awareness. Participants also do rhythmic exercises connected with movement. The focus in all the exercises is on developing creativity.

    Discount for boys
    In order to encourage enrollment in dance, boys under the age of 18 are entitled to a discount of up to 50 % off class fees (excluding BOYS I and BOYS II as these class fees have already been discounted).

    We offer a 10% discount on total class fees, per child, for children of a same family (registered in the Preparatory or Recreational Program).

    L’École supérieure de ballet du Québec’s cancellation policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act in effect in the province of Quebec.

    There is no cost or penalty if cancellation or withdrawal is done prior to the start of a course.

    In the event of Cancellation/Withdrawal during the session, the courses taken must be paid, in addition to a penalty equal to the lesser of the following: $50 or 10 % of the cost of services not yet received.

    To cancel or withdraw from a course, please contact L’École supérieure de ballet du Québec as soon as possible at 514 849-4111. All classes that have taken place before the cancellation must be paid.
