L’École supérieure de ballet du Québec, the only institution in North America to provide a professional ballet program entirely in French, will host its first audition day this Fall.

14:00 to 15:30 Grade 6 + Secondary 1 and 2
16:00 to 17:30 Secondary 3, 4 and 5 + Cegep
Candidates must audition according to their current academic grade level.

Each candidate will be evaluated in a ballet class during which the selection jury will assess the candidate’s coordination, flexibility, musicality, expression, and especially his or her motivation to pursue a career in dance.
Candidates chosen at this audition will then take part in the summer intensive (July 1-26, 2013) as the final step in the audition process.
L’École supérieure de ballet du Québec’s 2012 summer intensive gave the candidates the opportunity to attend classes taught by professional dancers, choreographers and guest teachers such as Lázaro Carreño, Roberto Campanella, Evelyn Hart, and Guillaume Côté.
