Corps de ballet 2026

To mark its 60th anniversary, the École supérieure de ballet du Québec is presenting a special edition of Corps de ballet. Nearly 120 students from the dance-study program will perform choreographic works spanning styles and eras, including classical repertoire, contemporary creations, and pieces inspired by flamenco and Gypsy dance traditions.
In a spirit of reunion and celebration, Saturday evening’s performance will bring together and honour alumni, graduates, and members of the artistic, teaching, and administrative teams, past and present.
Do not miss this performance for audiences of all ages, carried by the energy and talent of Québec’s next generation of dance artists.

“I have the utmost admiration for the remarkable work of Anik Bissonnette as artistic director of the ESBQ, this jewel of our Quebec culture. I witnessed a breathtaking performance. Motivated, energetic students with impressive technical skills; choreography, each piece more inspiring than the last, crafted and rehearsed by a teaching staff clearly of the highest caliber; a selection of colorful costumes; creative lighting—everything contributed to making this evening something truly magical.”
