Dancing for Health

At the École supérieure de ballet du Québec, every day begins with a dream: the dream of students who wake up ready to dance. But behind the elegance and fluidity of movement lie bodies that work tirelessly, minds striving for balance, and young people learning to grow in a demanding world. It is for them that we are launching the Dancing for Health campaign.
Every dollar donated becomes a concrete gesture in their daily lives. A healthy habit gained, eased stress, renewed confidence, or even a prevented injury.
Your contribution helps support a wide range of essential services that nurture the development of our young dancers. Each year, the ESBQ’s health and wellness program requires $75,000 in funding. These funds allow us to maintain and enhance services directly tied to their physical, mental, and emotional well-being. We need your support to make this possible.
By giving, you provide them with the tools to dance better… and, above all, to live better.
Because your donation—big or small—becomes a meaningful action in the human and artistic journey of our students
Some concrete examples:
- Stress and performance management workshops
- Healthy lifestyle programs
- Personalized consultations
- Cooking classes and nutrition workshops
- Support from a professional team specialized in dancer health
- The creation of a training gym for strengthening and injury prevention

By contributing to this campaign, you offer our students far more than financial support—you are investing in their balance, their confidence, and their future.
“Nothing matters more to me than protecting the physical and psychological health of these young athletes in the prime of their lives—an increasingly urgent issue that I have made my personal mission in recent years. This is why I am calling on your generosity. Our students have no shortage of courage, perseverance, or virtuosity, but they need your financial support to grow in the best possible conditions.”

École supérieure de ballet du Québec
Thanks to the School’s multidisciplinary team of health professionals, we serve as a model within the artistic community. On November 8 and 9, the ESBQ had the honour of hosting the annual Healthy Dancer Canada (HDC) conference, bringing together experts from around the world with a shared goal: promoting the health of dance artists. Our commitment to prioritizing the well-being of our students is now recognized as a reference point in Canada and internationally.
Your donation supports this forward-thinking vision. Here, health, excellence, and kindness move in harmony.
And because life is more beautiful when we dance,
a donation of $50 or more gives you
a 1 in 5 chance to win a 25% discount on an adult recreational class*.
One entry per person. Cannot be combined with any other offer. Applicable to adult recreational classes only. Non-transferable. Deadline to enter the draw: December 31, 2025.
A first significant cultural donation gives you access to an additional tax credit. Sometimes, giving more actually costs less!

The credit may vary depending on your net or taxable income. Please note that this program may end without notice; we recommend verifying the details with Revenu Québec.
If you wish, you may also support other projects—scholarships, artistic development, learning environment, and more—by clicking here.
Every donation makes a difference. We are counting on you.
