Béatrice Larouche, a graduate of ESBQ, joins COMPAGNIE MARIE CHOUINARD

We are always very proud to see our graduates continue their careers on the major stages of contemporary dance. Trained at the École supérieure de ballet du Québec, Béatrice Larouche (class of 2021) joined the prestigious COMPAGNIE MARIE CHOUINARD in 2025, one of Canada's leading dance companies.

Originally from Chicoutimi, Béatrice has distinguished herself over the past few years through the richness and diversity of her artistic career. Between 2023 and 2025, she choreographed and performed in three short films by visual artist TJO, danced for the Gargoyle Dance Club, and from 2024 to 2025, she danced in several performances of the show We call it Ballet by Fever. On screen, she appeared in two music videos by Norwegian singer AURORA, as well as in the series Empathie written by Florence Longpré.

Founded in 1990, the COMPAGNIE MARIE CHOUINARD is renowned for its unique movement, aesthetic rigor, and international reach. Under the direction of choreographer Marie Chouinard, it shines on the world's greatest stages, embodying a bold and deeply poetic vision of contemporary dance.
