Advanced Cycle
In the advanced cycle, the student’s schedule allows them to concentrate exclusively on their studies on Monday and to devote themselves entirely to dancing on Saturdays.
Two programs are offered in the Advanced Cycle:
Consult the Admission Guide for more information about the courses offered in each of the two programs, the typical schedule, and the services available to Advanced Cycle students.
While most of the courses are conducted in French, many teachers also speak another language, such as English, Spanish and Russian.
In the official curriculum, the academic training, in the morning, is offered by the Pensionnat du Saint-Nom-de-Marie (PSNM).
The PSNM aims to provide a high-quality education in order to develop the full potential of young people who will shape the world of tomorrow. This private French-language secondary school for girls also welcomes boys in its Dance Studies and Music Studies programs. Offering personalized, caring, and rigorous guidance, the PSNM encourages reflection, experimentation, and innovation in order to help its students become well-rounded, thoughtful individuals who are open to the world. The teaching takes into account the reality of each student and offers a schedule adapted to their needs.
The student enrolled in the dance-only curriculum, which consists exclusively of professional training in ballet, has the possibility of taking correspondence courses.
Candidates of all levels are welcome to audition.
Young people should audition according to their current academic grade level.
