Rocio Vadillo Molina

Originally from Córdoba, Andalusia, she developed an interest in the performing arts from an early age. After graduating from the Higher School of Dramatic Arts in her hometown, she received a scholarship to attend the Madrid Film School, followed by another to continue her training in musical theatre at Carmen Roche’s Dance School. In Madrid, she began teaching dance in the Antón Martín neighborhood, a historic cradle of flamenco.

She then spent fifteen years in France, where she took part in various projects, some of her own creation, such as Deseo, Trinidad, and her more personal production Vous êtes ici sous, a poetic and emotional performance blending theatre, clowning, poetry, and flamenco. She also collaborated with companies such as Al Golpe Flamenco (De nulle part et d’ailleurs) and Compagnie Zambra (Les mots d’amour).

For many years, she has combined her artistic career with teaching in dance schools. She has also worked in colleges and cégeps, sharing both the theory and practice of flamenco, while continuing her work as an actress.
In 2018, after fifteen years of experience in France, she took on a new challenge by moving to Montreal, where she teaches flamenco dance and singing at her own school as well as at Les Studios des Grands Ballets Canadiens. She is also part of the teaching staff at the École Supérieure de Ballet du Québec and Collège Sainte-Anne’s dance program, and collaborates with other institutions as a flamenco teacher for teenagers and young adults.

Since arriving in Montreal, she has taken part in several notable projects, including the filming of the music video Par amour by international singer Lara Fabian, coordinating flamenco performances at the legendary Club Espagnol de Québec, and joining the Cormier Agency as an actress. More recently, she has appeared in television series such as L’Empereur, Alertes, À cœur battant, Projet innocence, Bellefleur, and Détective Surprenant.
