Stéphanie Dalphond

Originally from Montreal, Stéphanie trained at the École Supérieure de Danse du Québec and at the École du ballet de l'Opéra de Paris. At the age of 17, she joined Les Grands Ballets Canadiens and danced there for 6 years. She then moved to Europe to dance with Kevin O'Day, Dominique Dumais and the Nomades Company, among others, and ended her 20-year career with the Compañia Nacional de Danza with the renowned choreographer Nacho Duato.

As a ballet teacher, Stephanie values rigor, the desire to learn, but above all the pleasure of dancing. Considering ballet as an excellent foundation for any other dance style, it is in a supportive atmosphere that Stéphanie offers this solid base. She prioritizes placement and alignment to allow the freedom of movement required by the performer, the artist behind the technique.

In addition to teaching at L'École supérieure, Stéphanie teaches classes in the recreational and professional settings in Montreal.
