Arnaud Mongeon Joins the Compagnie Marie Chouinard

A 2024 graduate of the École supérieure de ballet du Québec, Arnaud Mongeon, is joining the Compagnie Marie Chouinard for the 2026–2027 season. This marks a new step in the career of the Gatineau-born dancer, whose professional journey has already taken him between the worlds of classical and contemporary dance.

Since its founding in 1990, the Compagnie Marie Chouinard has performed on major stages and at international festivals. With its ongoing exploration of the body and movement, the company’s repertoire holds a unique place in the contemporary dance landscape.

Arnaud has already gained valuable experience as a professional dancer. He has performed with Les Grands Ballets Canadiens in Giselle, Continuum, and The Nutcracker, as well as with Ballet BC in Boléro X. At the ESBQ, his graduating solo was choreographed by Andrew Mikhaiel of Ballets Jazz Montréal.

During his training, Arnaud received scholarships from the Fondation de l’École supérieure de ballet du Québec, which helped support his artistic journey and development.

The entire ESBQ team warmly congratulates Arnaud on this new chapter in his career and wishes him a wonderful and inspiring season!
