Monica Nachi

A former professional ballerina with the Bucharest Opera, Monica Nachi has over 25 years of experience teaching classical ballet. Trained in dance in Romania, she also holds a DEC in classical dance instruction from the Cégep du Vieux Montréal, a program offered in partnership with the École supérieure de Ballet du Québec.

Throughout her career, she has taught children, teenagers, and adults in recreational, competitive, and pre-professional programs. Her teaching, inspired by the Vaganova method, places great emphasis on the quality of movement, musicality, and the artistic development of each student.

As a choreographer and rehearsal director, Monica has also created and staged several productions from the classical repertoire and developed particular expertise in providing ballet training to figure skaters. She is also certified in Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT) and is a Level 3 Essentrics instructor.
